TERME DI BORMIO – BAGNI VECCHI
As with many thermal springs in Italy, this spa has a rich history. Not only is it old (2,000 years), but it has also hosted key figures throughout the years. Leonardo da Vinci himself used to make visits to this area.

The tourist resort of Sirmione is located on an extended peninsula on Garda Lake. Terme Sibarite – Cosenza
The Sibarite thermal baths are located in Cassano dello Jonio, near an archaeological park and the famous Greek colony of Sybaris. The composition of its sulphurous waters is alkaline and bicarbonate, so it allows hydrotherapy practices, inhalations and baths of organic sludge. While here, do not forget to dive in the beautiful crystal clear waters of the Calabrian coast.

Terme di Saint Vincent – Aosta
The discovery of the waters’ beneficial properties in Saint Vincent dates back to 1700, attributed to the Abbot Giovanni Battista Perret. These waters are particularly suitable as a general tonic for liver diseases, digestive system and respiratory system. The thermal baths are located in a small town in the heart of the Aosta Valley, surrounded by extraordinary towns and mountain villages, and already known for winter sports.

Terme di Popoli – Pescara  
Popoli is a medieval town surrounded by natural resources and historical monuments in the hinterland of Abruzzo; the waters of its thermal baths are derived from sulphurous springs, and they mainly treat respiratory and vascular system.

Terme di Grado – Gorizia
The thermal baths in Grado exploit the particular salinity of sea water and the currents from the nearby lagoon for therapeutic purposes. Thalassotherapy is practiced here, and it cures rheumatism, neuroses and insomnia; a must in the summer months are the blasting treatments. Very interesting to visit is just the aforementioned lagoon, along with the old town and the archaeological site of Aquileia.

Levico Terme – Trento
Between natural and cultural routes of the Valsugana, the thermal park of Levico is home to many exotic and local species of flora and fauna. Its waters are used in many conditions of debilitation for the valuable trace elements contained in the arsenical and ferruginous composition; mud baths, inhalations, massage therapy are only a few of the treatments here practiced. The area is also perfect to test yourself with many sports, including canoeing, fishing and skiing in winter.

Fosso Bianco natural pools Health Spa
The Fosso Bianco natural pools in the village of Bagni San Filippo sit at the confluence of several hot springs. Slipping down the calcium-carbonate encrusted rock-face and into the natural cerulean basins below, the Fosso Bianco waterfalls provide the perfect all-year-round bathing experience.

Vulcano spas
Situated on the Aeolian Island of Vulcano and only accessible by boat, both the thermal springs and mud baths of Laghetto di Fanghi are within easy walking distance of the island’s harbour. Offering an extraordinarily alternative spa-day experience, the natural mud is also considered an effective treatment for muscle, joint and bone disorders, as well as a number of skin diseases. 

Bagni di Bormio Park, Health Spa
If you head north to the Lombardy region of Italy, you will find the small medieval town of Bormio. Sitting on the alpine slope of Mount Reit, this commune is particularly noted for its winter sports but is also renowned for its hot springs.

Terme di Saturnia – Grosseto
In the middle of the Maremma countryside, the natural mineral waters of Saturnia spring from an old volcanic crater. Waterfalls and paths twist and turn at the foot of an ancient village, with waters that are indicated for skin diseases, ear, nose, throat and vascular problems. Nearby there are Etruscan and Roman archaeological structures, villages for cultural and culinary experiences and, not far, the Argentario coast.

Petriolo Health Spa
The hot springs of Petriolo along the River Farma, sit on the border between the municipalities of Monticiano and Civitella Paganico, and are within close proximity to the capital of Tuscany, Florence.
Gushing out from the banks of the River Farma torrent at around 43°C, the hot sulphurous pearly waters keep the natural concavities topped up and allow for free, round-the-clock bathing.
